Progress has been impressive with highly successful and award winning fundraising, delivering high impact projects. The charity continues to grow fast and funding is now in place to deliver an ambitious expansion plan. This will see Islamic Aid building on its proven entrepreneurial approach to fundraising while establishing the foundations for more substantial programme work. Mahmood is now looking to recruit a team of passionate and committed professionals to help shape the direction and build Islamic Aid.

We are currently looking for the following team members:

Director Programmes

To be responsible for all aspects of Islamic Aid country programmes, including planning, design, development, management and monitoring of both projects and broader programme strategy. This key role will influence not just what Islamic Aid does but also how we deliver. We are looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on professional with direct experience of successfully establishing and running country programmes and projects on the ground, who can develop and oversee impactful project work and help us make the move into larger programmes in education, healthcare, and livelihoods (including Islamic Microfinance) and emergency relief. Director Fundraising

Based on targeted database marketing and excellent supporter care, Islamic Aid’s fundraising has been hugely successful. Mahmood is an acknowledged expert in database marketing to the Muslim community in the UK. Looking forward we plan to deliver integrated fundraising/marketing campaigns, growing income from £3.5 million in 2011-12 to £5 million in 2012-13. We are looking for a Director Fundraising who can continue to build on this success, whilst also developing new fundraising programmes, most urgently in digital marketing and community fundraising. This strategic and hands-on role calls for a marketing entrepreneur with fundraising experience and strong skills in ICT, new media, brand building and communication. Digital Marketing Manager

A digital entrepreneur excited by making things work. This role calls for someone who is both an innovator and an implementer, who has excellent communication skills and an ability to analyse and learn from results. We recognise that this is a lot to ask from one person but believe that there are people excited about making digital marketing dreams into reality. Graduate Trainees

The Muslim International Development charity sector needs creativity, new ideas, enthusiasm and commitment.
